DINING

Turns out, people absolutely LOVE the same things as our Founders – the best meats, cheeses, and toppings we can find. Take our Hook & Ladder® Sub for example, with Virginia honey ham, smoked turkey breast, and melted Monterey Jack. People come back again and again because, unlike other sub places, we steam our meats and cheeses, releasing a rush of flavors, then stuff a serving that’s way over code on one of our toasted private-recipe sub rolls. It’s a winning combination that satisfies ravenous appetites and the value-conscious alike.

Not just a pretty-looking restaurant with exceptional food…

Great food shared with friends and family, a place to be social, to enjoy each other’s company, a place to experience small-town canadiana on a grander scale; this is MR MIKES!

Family , Friendly and Specialty Foods.

We have taken something old and made it new.  with Once enjoyed by just our family, we took a chance and decided to share our cannoli with the world. Turns out that when you step outside of your box, incredible things can happen.

Coffee & Craft.

It takes many hands to craft the perfect cup of coffee – from the farmers who tend to the red-ripe coffee cherries, to the master roasters who coax the best from every bean, and to the barista who serves it with care. We are committed to the highest standards of quality and service, embracing our heritage while innovating to create new experiences to savor.

Our Story is part man, part legend all Colonel.

It all began in a Kentucky gas station way back in 1930 when Harland Sanders first started cooking for hungry travelers. Six years later, he became a Colonel and, by 1940, he had perfected his now famous 11-herbs-and-spices recipe. He spent the rest of his long and storied life taking his chicken to the world, bringing it to Canada back in 1953 and even living here from 1965 until 1980.
